My Lords, at a convenient moment after 3.30 this afternoon my noble and learned friend the Lord Chancellor will, with the leave of the House, repeat a Statement that is to be made in another place on Patrick McVeigh: Extradition Proceedings.

It may be for the convenience of the House if I announce that the Committee stage of the Local Government Finance Bill will be adjourned at approximately 7.30 p.m. for one hour and that during the adjournment the Order of Commitment for the Scotch Whisky Bill will be discharged and the Companies (Fees) Regulations 1988 will be taken.
