The Chairman of Committees

My Lords, I beg to move the second Motion standing in my name on the Order Paper.

Moved, That pursuant to the order of 18th July last a Select Committee be appointed to consider the matters complained of in the petition against the order and that, as proposed by the Committee of Selection, the following Lords be named of the Select Committee:

That the proceedings of the Committee shall be conducted as if they were a Committee on an opposed private Bill;

That the order and the petition shall stand referred to the Committee;

That the Committee do meet on Tuesday 11th October at half-past ten o'clock.— (The Chairman of Committees.)
