349 Schedule 12, page 136, line 26, at end insert—

Interpretation.

In this Schedule— procedural instruments" means—

  1. (a) Rules of Procedure under section 103 of the Army Act 1955 or section 103 of the Air Force Act 1955;
  2. (b) General Orders under section 58 of Naval Discipline Act 1957;
  3. (c) rules under section 49 of the Courts-Martial (Appeals) Act 1968; and
  4. (d) orders under paragraph 12 of Schedule 3 to the Armed Forces Act 1976; and
Service courts" means—
  1. (a) courts-martial constituted under the Army Act 1955 or the Air Force Act 1955;
  2. (b) courts-martial constituted under the Naval Discipline Act 1957 and disciplinary courts constituted under section 50 of that Act;
  3. (c) the Courts-Martial Appeal Court; and
  4. (d) Standing Civilian Courts'.

My Lords, with the leave of the House, I beg to move that this House do agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 349. I should like also to speak to Amendments Nos. 351, 352, 355, 356, and 358. These are all purely drafting changes which improve the structure of Schedule 12. I beg to move.
