91 Clause 42, page 28, line 4, leave out subsections (2) and (3) and insert—

'(2) For the third and fourth columns of the entries relating to an offence under section 2(1) (possessing, etc. shotgun without shotgun certificate) there shall be substituted—

"(a) Summary 6 months or the statutory maximum or both.
(b) On Indictment. 3 years or a fine; or both.".'.

My Lords, I beg to move that the House do agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 91. This is a technical amendment to clarify the penalties available following summary trial for possession of an uncertified shotgun.
