§ The Lord Chancellor (Lord Mackay of Clashfern)My Lords, before the commencement of business, I take the opportunity to inform the House that I have accepted an invitation to attend the Australian Bicentennial Service in Westminster Abbey tomorrow, and that I will be visiting Southampton combined court centre and Bournemouth Crown and County Courts on Friday, 15th July. Accordingly, I trust that the House will agree to grant me leave of absence for tomorrow and for Friday, 15th July.
