My Lords, at a convenient moment after 3.30 this afternoon, my noble friend Lord Young of Graffham will, with the leave of the House, repeat in the form of a Statement an Answer to a Private Notice Question in another place on the financial situation and the sale of BP shares. This will be followed by my noble friend Lord Skelmersdale, who will, again with the leave of the House, repeat a Statement on social security benefit rates.

It may be for the convenience of the House if I announce that the Committee stage of the Criminal Justice Bill will be adjourned at approximately 7.30 p.m. for approximately one hour and that during the adjournment the Fishing Vessels (Acquisition and Improvement) (Grants) Scheme 1987, the Fishing Vessels (Financial Assistance) Scheme 1987 and the Fish Farming (Financial Assistance) Scheme 1987 will be taken.
