My Lords, at a convenient moment after 3.30 this afternoon, my noble friend Lord Caithness will, with the leave of the House, repeat a Statement that is being made in another place on disorders at Wapping.

It may be for the convenience of the House if I announce that the Committee stage of the Teachers' Pay and Conditions Bill will be adjourned at approximately 7 p.m. for approximately one hour and that during this adjournment the Town and Country Planning (Fees for Applications and Deemed Applications) Regulations 1986 will be taken.
