50 Schedule 4, page 40, line 7, at end insert— Diseases of Fish Act 1937 (c.33) In subsection (3) of section 8 of the Diseases of Fish Act 1937 (penalties and legal proceedings) for the words after "be" there shall be substituted the words "proceeded against and punished in Scotland".''.

My Lords, I beg to move that this House do agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 50. This amendment ensures that offences committed in Scotland in waters with respect to which functions under the Diseases of Fish Act 1937 are exercisable by the North-West Water Authority will be proceeded against and punished in Scotland.
