Lord Denham

My Lords, at a convenient moment after 3.30 this afternoon my noble friend Lord Glenarthur will repeat, with the leave of the House, a Statement that is to be made in another place on the Popplewell Report. It may be for the convenience of the House if I also announce that the Report stage of the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Bill will be adjourned at approximately 7 p.m. for a short period and that during that adjournment the Statutory Sick Pay Up-rating Order 1985 will be taken.
