§ 15 Page 15, leave out line 21 and insert ("practices (or purported practices) as licensed conveyancers").
§ The amendments make clear that the council can pay compensation to persons who have suffered loss as a result of a licensed conveyancer's dishonesty or negligence, even where he was practising outside the terms of his licence. I hope that this will be acceptable to the House. I beg to move that this House do agree with the Commons in the said amendment.
