HL Deb 16 October 1985 vol 467 c671

203ZA Line 16, leave out from ("effect") to the end of line 34.

203ZB Line 40, leave out sub-paragraph (ii).

203ZC Line 45, leave out ("Schedule 3") and insert ("Schedule 4").

Lord Cameron of Lochbroom

My Lords, I beg to move that this House do agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 203 as amended by Amendments Nos. 203ZA, 203ZB and 203ZC.

Amendment No. 203 makes provision, among other things, as to how Schedule 3 to the Social Security Pensions Act 1975 will have effect as part of the changes being made to the Crown preferences. Of the three amendments which are being made to Amendment No. 203, the first two have the effect of deleting the amendments it was proposed to make to the Social Security Pensions Act 1975 in the interim period between the commencement of this Bill and the Insolvency Bill. These amendments are no longer required because it is not intended to commence them until the equivalent provisions of the Insolvency Bill relating to Crown preferences are commenced. The third change is consequential upon the re-numbering of the schedule relating to Crown preferences in the Insolvency Bill. I beg to move.

Moved, That this House do agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 203 as amended by Amendments Nos. 203ZA, 203ZB and 203ZC.—(Lord Cameron of Lochbroom.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
