§ Lord SkelmersdaleMy Lords, at a convenient moment after 3.30 this afternoon my noble friend Lord Young of Graffham will, with the leave of the House, repeat the Autumn Statement that is to be made in another place by my right honourable friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer. My noble friend then, again with the leave of the House, will make a Statement on enterprise and employment measures.
I should explain that my noble friend's own Statement would normally be made now, but on this occasion it will be made after the Autumn Statement of the Chancellor of the Exchequer because it is consequential on that Statement.
