My Lords, it may be for the convenience of the House if I say that after 3.30 this afternoon my noble friend Lord Gray of Contin will, with the leave of the House, repeat a Statement to be made in another place on Rating and Valuation (Scotland). It may also be for the convenience of the House if I announce that the Committee stage of the Local Government Bill will be adjourned at approximately 7.30 p.m. for approximately one hour, and that during this adjournment the Committee stage of the Further Education Bill will be taken.
