Lord Denham

My Lords, it may be for the convenience of the House if I say that after 3.30 p.m. this afternoon my noble friend Lord Lucas of Chilworth will, with the leave of the House, repeat a Statement that is to be made in another place on British Leyland.

It may also be for the convenience of the House if I announce that the Report stage of the Local Government Bill will be adjourned at approximately 7 p.m. for about one hour, and that during this adjournment the Second Reading of the Rating (Revaluation Rebates) (Scotland) Bill will be taken.
