HL Deb 29 March 1984 vol 450 c411

7.46 p.m.

Lord Lyell

My Lords, on behalf of my noble friend the Minister of State. Scottish Office, I beg to move that this Report be now received.

Moved. That the Report be now received.—(Lord Lyell.)

Lord Lyell

My Lords, 1 believe that it would be for the convenience of your Lordships, not least the noble and learned Lord upon the Woolsack, to deal with the two Motions on the Order Paper before continuing with the Report stage of the Roads (Scotland) Bill.

Accordingly, I beg to move that further consideration on Report be now adjourned.

I understand that it is intended to resume consideration on Report at approximately 8.30 p.m. I hope that that will give noble Lords some guidance.
