§ but proposed the following amendments to the Lords amendment in lieu of that Commons amendment.
§ 24 Line 14, after ("above') insert ("shall not apply where the tenant's claim to exercise the right to but' was made before the coming into force of Part 1 of this Act: and the amendment made by sub-paragraph (1A) above")
§ 25 Line 16, leave out ("commencement') and insert ("coming into force").
