My Lords, at a convenient moment after 3.30 this afternoon my noble friend Lord Long will, with the leave of the House, repeat a Statement that is to be made in another place on the water supply situation in Wales.

It may be for the convenience of the House if I announce that the Report stage of the Police and Criminal Evidence Bill will be adjourned for dinner at approximately 7 p.m. for a short period and that during this adjournment the Motor Vehicles Tyres (Safety) Regulations 1984 and the Industrial Training Levy (Engineering Board) Order 1984 will be taken.
