My Lords, at a convenient moment after 3.30 this afternoon my noble friend Lord Lucas of Chilworth will, with the leave of the House, repeat in the form of a Statement an Answer to a Private Notice Question given in another place on the dock strike.

It may be for the convenience of the House if I announce that the Report stage of the Health and Social Security Bill will be adjourned for dinner at approximately 7.30 p.m. for a short period. During this adjournment consideration of Commons amendments to the Matrimonial and Family Proceedings Bill will be taken.
