§ Lord DenhamMy Lords, at a convenient moment after 3.30 this afternoon, my noble friend Lord Avon will, with the leave of the House, repeat a Statement which is to be made in another place on the rate support grant settlement 1985–86. That will be followed by my noble and learned friend the Lord Chancellor, who, again with the leave of the House, will repeat a Statement on the indemnity given to the sequestrators of the NUM funds.
It may be for the convenience of the House if I announce that the Committee stage of the Food and Environment Protection Bill will be adjourned at approximately 7.30 p.m. for a short period; and that during that adjournment the Pneumoconiosis etc. (Workers' Compensation) (Payment of Claims) (Amendment) Regulations 1984 will be taken.
