HL Deb 26 April 1984 vol 451 c152
Lord Denham

My Lords, at a convenient moment after 3.30 p.m. this afternoon my noble friend Lord Cockfield will, with the leave of the House, repeat in the form of a Statement an Answer to a Private Notice Question in another place on the future of The Observer newspaper.

It may be for the convenience of the House if I announce that the Committee stage of the Rates Bill will be adjourned for dinner at approximately 7 p.m. for a short period, and that during the adjournment the Committee stages of three consolidation Bills will be taken; namely, the Dentists Bill, Registered Homes Bill, and Foster Children (Scotland) Bill. Those Committee stages will be followed by the Committee stage of the Anatomy Bill.
