HL Deb 24 October 1983 vol 444 c12
The Lord Advocate (Lord Mackay of Clashfern)

My Lords, I beg to move that this Bill be now read a second time. It consolidates certain enactments relating to foster children in Scotland. It is pure consolidation and is intended to make no change in the existing law. If your Lordships approve, it will be referred to the Joint Committee on Consolidation Bills, which will consider it and make its report to the House in due course.

My Lords, I beg to move.

Moved, That the Bill be now read a second time.—(Lord Mackay of Clashfern.)

On Question, Bill read a second time, and referred to the Joint Committee on Consolidation Bills.
