HL Deb 10 March 1983 vol 440 c327
Baroness Young

My Lords, I beg to move the Motion standing in my name on the Order Paper.

Moved, That Standing Order 37 (Arrangement of the Order Paper) be dispensed with on Monday next to allow the second Motion standing in the name of the Lord Elton to be taken after the first Motion standing in his name.—(Baroness Young.)

Lord Airedale

My Lords, what is it that makes the noble Lord, Lord Elton, apprehensive that, on Monday next, the second Motion standing in his name should not be taken after the first Motion standing in his name?

Baroness Young

My Lords, I think that to be precise the Motion should probably read: to be taken immediately after the first Motion standing in his name". That would meet the point of the noble Lord, Lord Airedale.

On Question, Motion agreed to.
