HL Deb 21 July 1983 vol 443 c1253
The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of Health and Social Security (Lord Glenarthur)

My Lords, on behalf of my noble friend Lord Gowrie, I beg to move that this Bill be now read a third time.

Moved, That the Bill be now read a third time.—(Lord Glenarthur.)

Lord Bruce of Donington

My Lords, in view of the convention which applies to this House, we on this side of the House cannot of course divide against the Bill. May I, however, inform Her Majesty's Government that in view of the fact that Argentina continues to re-arm and that there is no guarantee that the £100 million which is being advanced to Argentina will not be used for armaments purposes, we shall return to this question again and monitor progress very, very carefully indeed.

On Question, Bill read a third time, and passed.
