HL Deb 13 December 1983 vol 446 c106

3.11 p.m.

Lord Denham

My Lords, at a convenient moment after 3.30 this afternoon my noble friend Lord Cockfield will, with the leave of the House, repeat a Statement that is to be made in another place on Regional Industrial Policy.

It may be for the convenience of the House if I announce that dinner will be available at the usual time of 7.30 this evening. The Committee stage of the Agricultural Holdings Bill will be adjourned for a time at about 7.30 p.m. During the adjournment the Appropriation (No. 3) (Northern Ireland) Order 1983, the Northern Ireland (Emergency Provisions) Act 1978 (Continuance) (No. 2) Order 1983 and the Fisheries (Amendment) (Northern Ireland) Order 1983 will be taken. Because of the nature and importance of the business to be taken, the break may be rather longer than the usual hour.
