§ Lord DenhamMy Lords, it may be for the convenience of the House if I announce that dinner will be available at the usual time this evening. With the leave of the House, I should like to announce at the earliest possible opportunity that it is now clear that the House need not sit on Tuesday next, 3rd August. The House will now rise for the Summer Recess on Monday next, 2nd August. The House will sit at 2.30 p.m. on Monday and dinner will definitely be available. It is hoped that the progress of business on that day will be such that the House will be in a position to rise by about 10 p.m.
