HL Deb 15 July 1982 vol 433 c467
Lord Denham

My Lords, it may be for the convenience of the House, if I announce that, in view of the business before the House today, and, in particular, the Committee stage of the Transport Bill which was not concluded last night, it has been agreed that the Report stage of the Stock Transfer Bill, standing in the name of my noble friend Lord Glenarthur, will not now be taken today but will be taken next Thursday, 22nd July, instead. I have arranged for the Grill Room to be open until 9.45 this evening.

Your Lordships may also wish to know that, subject to the progress of business, the House will rise for the Summer Recess on Tuesday, 3rd August, and return on Tuesday, 12th October.
