My Lords, at a convenient moment after 3.30 this afternoon my noble friend Lord Trenchard will, with the leave of the House, repeat a Statement that is to be made in another place on the Defence White Paper on the Falklands Campaign.
It may be for the convenience of the House if I announce that dinner will be available this evening at the usual time. The Committee stage of the National Heritage Bill will be adjourned at approximately 7 p.m. for a short period. During this adjournment the Second Reading of the Merchant Shipping Bill will be taken.
