HL Deb 27 April 1982 vol 429 c822
Lord Denham

My Lords, following a business Statement in another place earlier this afternoon, it has been agreed that a debate should be held in your Lordships' House on Thursday of this week, 29th April: the debate will be held on a Motion, To take note of the situation in the Falkland Islands, which will be moved by my noble friend Lord Belstead.

Perhaps I could say something about the business which was to have been taken on Thursday. The Report stage of the Administration of Justice Bill will now begin during the dinner adjournment on Tuesday next, 4th May, and will continue on Thursday, 6th May. It has not yet been possible to rearrange the debate on the Motion standing in the name of the noble Lord, Lord Greenhill of Harrow, but I will undertake to ensure that the new date will be fixed as soon as possible through the usual channels.
