My Lords, in moving the adjournment, I should like to wish noble Lords in all parts of the House, and the staff, a restful recess and a happy Easter. I beg to move that this House do now adjourn.

My Lords, in reciprocating the best wishes expressed by the Chief Whip that we shall all be able to enjoy to the full the recess until 19th April, may I say that I hope the recess will be undisturbed by the need to recall Parliament; but if it is necessary, I am sure the Government will not hesitate to do so.
