99 Clause 14, page 15, line 40, at end insert— ( ) Where an order in consequence of which any person became a citizen of the British Dependent Territories by virtue of subsection (5) ceases to have effect, whether on annulment or otherwise, the cesser shall not affect the status of that person as such a citizen.".

The Commons agreed to the above amendment with the following amendment:

100 Line 2, leave out ("citizen of the British Dependent Territories") and insert ("British Dependent Territories' citizen").
