§ Lord Mackay of ClashfernMy Lords, again with the leave of the House, I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in their Amendments Nos. 1 and 2. The first amendment removes from the Bill a Provision made unnecessary because of the appointment of a day under the British Telecommunications Act 1981, for the transfer of the Post Office as to telecommunications and data processing to British Telecommunications. The second amendment makes certain drafting changes of references in the Housing Act 1974 consequent upon the Consolidation Bill. I beg to move.
§ Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in the said amendments.—(Lord Mackay of Clashfern.)
§ On Question, Motion agreed to.
