HL Deb 19 October 1981 vol 424 c619

114 Clause 49, page 44, line 12, after 'carriage-way' insert or a carriage-way'.

The Earl of Avon

My Lords, I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 114, which brings the provisions of subsection (7) of Clause 49 into line with the present provisions in the Countryside Act 1968 on the upkeep of byways open to all traffic. The omission which this amendment rectifies crept in during the reprinting of the Bill. I beg to move.

Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in the said amendment.—(The Earl of Avon.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
