HL Deb 19 October 1981 vol 424 c664

180 Page 71, line 6, [Schedule 10] leave out from 'animal' to second 'of' in line 7.

181 Page 71, line 8, at end insert 'or an egg or other immature stage of such an animal'.

The Earl of Avon

My Lords, I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 180. Amendment No. 180 is linked with Amendment No. 181, and, with permission, I shall move both of them together. These are drafting amendments to make it clear that the phrase "of any of the kinds to which Schedule 4 to this Act for the time being applies" also governs the phrase "a live or dead animal". I beg to move.

Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in the said amendments.—(The Earl of Avon.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
