§ The Lord Chancellor rose to move that the draft order laid before the House on 9th July be approved.
§ The noble and learned Lord said: My Lords, again this is pure consolidation. The order consolidates the law relating to the practice and procedure before magistrates' courts in Northern Ireland. The Joint Committee reported on 15th July that they had considered the draft and were satisfied that it was pure consolidation and that there was no point to which the attention of Parliament should be drawn. I beg to move that the said order be approved.
§ Moved, That the draft order laid before the House on 9th July be approved.—(The Lord Chancellor.)
§ On Question, Motion agreed to.
