HL Deb 15 October 1981 vol 424 c484

59 Clause 29, page 27, line 37, leave out from 'agreement' to 'under' in line 38 and insert 'for the acquisition of the interest of the person who gave the notice under subsection (4) or an agreement'.

Earl Ferrers

My Lords, I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in the said amendment. I should also like to speak to Amendment No. 60, as both amendments are related. It may be convenient if I explain that both amendments are intended solely to clarify the meaning of the sentence and to improve the drafting.

Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in the said amendment.—(Earl Ferrers.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
