HL Deb 23 March 1981 vol 418 cc963-4
Lord Denham

My Lords, at a convenient moment after 3.30 this afternoon my noble friend Lord Ferrers will, with the leave of the House, repeat a Statement to be made in another place on the foot and mouth disease outbreak.

It may be for your Lordships' convenience if I announce that dinners will be available this evening. Subject to the progress of the Committee stage of the Companies (No. 2) Bill, the House will adjourn for approximately one hour. The Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) Act 1976 (Continuance) Order 1981 will be taken during this adjournment.

I think I should also tell your Lordships that the Committee stage of the Interpretation of Legislation Bill, standing in the name of the noble and learned Lord, Lord Scarman, will now be taken on Thursday of this week, 26th March, after the Report stage of the Supreme Court Bill, and not tomorrow, Tuesday, 24th March.
