HL Deb 11 March 1981 vol 418 c285

3.2 p.m.

Lord Lyell

My Lords, in moving the Motion which stands in my name on the Order Paper I would wish to draw your Lordships' attention to a small error. The fifth line of the order of clauses should read: Clauses 3 to 16 and 18 to 62 instead of: Clauses 3 to 62". With that in mind, I beg to move the Motion in this corrected form.

Moved, That it be an Instruction to the Committee of the Whole House to whom the Companies (No. 2) Bill [H.L.] has been committed that they consider the Bill in the following order, viz.:—

  1. Clauses 1 and 2
  2. Schedule 1
  3. Clause 17
  4. Schedule 2
  5. Clauses 3 to 16 and 18 to 62
  6. Schedules 3 and 4
  7. —(Lord Lyell.)

Lord Ponsonby of Shulbrede

My Lords, I am glad that the noble Lord has amended the Instruction on the Order Paper, as I was concerned that we might have to consider Clause 17 twice.

On Question, Motion agreed to.
