HL Deb 02 July 1981 vol 422 c294
The Lord Chancellor (Lord Hailsham of Saint Marylebone)

My Lords, I beg to move that the House do now resolve itself into Committee on this Bill. I must apologise for this. It had been my intention to move, That the Order for Commitment be discharged, but, unfortunately, there was a technical hitch and I have to move the ordinary Motion in the ordinary way. I beg to move.

Moved, That the House do now resolve itself into Committee.—(The Lord Chancellor.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.

House in Committee accordingly.

[The LORD ABERDARE in the Chair.]

The Chairman of Committees (Lord Aberdare)

I understand that no amendments have been put down to the Bill this afternoon. With the agreement of the Committee, therefore, I will now put the Question, That I report the Bill to the House without amendment.

On Question, Motion agreed to.

House resumed: Report received.
