§ Lord DenhamMy Lords, it may be for the convenience of your Lordships if I announce that, subject to the progress of Business, the House will adjourn for the Christmas Recess on Tuesday, 22nd December, and return on Monday, 18th January.
I should perhaps also tell the House that the sitting on Tuesday, 22nd December, will be for the purpose of Royal Assent and the House will sit at 11 a.m. in the morning.
It has been agreed that the House should also sit at 11 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, 17th December, and there will he no sitting on Friday the 18th or Monday the 21st December.
