§ Lord MACKAY of CLASHFERNMy Lords, I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 134. This is a minor amendment which sets out the procedure for the abandonment at an early stage of appeals against sentences in summary cases. It is a useful addition to what is presently in the Bill.
