My Lords, in moving the Third Reading of this Bill, may I remind the House that its rapid and non-contentious progress through the House was made memorable by the remarks of the noble Lord, Lord Ross of Marnock, who, quoting from Robert Burns, said at col. 1712 of Hansard for 7th August:Amid the mighty fuss just let me mention,The rights of women merit some attention".I beg to move that the Bill be now read a third time.
