232 After Clause 51, insert the following new Clause:
Amendment of s. 454 of the 1948 Act.. In section 454(1) of the 1948 Act (power of Secretary of State to alter or add to requirements of 1948 and 1967 Acts relating to balance sheets and accounts) after the words "group accounts there shall be inserted the words" and a report of the directors of a company which is required by section 157 of this Act to be attached to the company's balance sheet ".
