HL Deb 03 December 1980 vol 415 cc395-6

2.55 p.m.

Lord Denham

My Lords, with the leave of the House, at a convenient moment after 3.30 this afternoon my noble friend the Foreign and Commonwealth Secretary will repeat a Statement that is to be made in another place on the European Council meeting.

It may also be for the convenience of your Lordships if I announce that dinner will be available this evening at the usual time. This has been arranged in view of the very long list of speakers for the Motion standing in the name of my noble friend Lord Cathcart, and I very much hope that as many noble Lords as possible will take advantage of this facility.
