HL Deb 07 August 1980 vol 412 c1596
Lord DENHAM

My Lords, on behalf of my noble friend the Leader of the House, I beg to move the Motion standing in his name on the Order Paper. The purpose of this Motion is to enable the House to consider the Commons reasons and amendments to the Housing Bill in the order in which amendments were taken in this House at the earlier stages. I am sure that the House will wish to proceed in this way. I beg to move.

Moved, That if the Housing Bill is returned from the Commons with amendments and reasons any amendment to Schedule 1 or any amendment proposed in lieu thereof be taken first on the consideration of those amendments and reasons. —(Lord Denham.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
