The LORD CHANCELLOR

My Lords, if your Lordships will allow me to do so, I will take Amendments Nos. 7 to 11 en bloc. They are all drafting amendments and consequential repeals designed to facilitate a consolidation of the law of limitation. I beg to move that the House do agree with the Commons in their Amendments Nos. 7 to 11.

Moved, that this House doth agree with the Commons in the said amendments.—(The Lord Chancellor.)

Lord ELWYN-JONES

My Lords, I agree that this should be done. It is very helpful for the work of consolidation that legislation coming through should bear in mind the benefits in tidying up the law as much as possible to ease the task of consolidation. I support these amendments.
