HL Deb 15 November 1979 vol 402 c1427

5.11 p.m.

Lord ELTON

I beg to move that the Tax, Consumer Credit and Judicature (Northern Ireland Consequential Amendments) Order 1979, of which a draft was laid before the House on 23rd October, be approved. This order is consequential upon both the Administration of Estates (Northern Ireland) Order and the Industrial Assurance (Northern Ireland) Order. This order will amend the various tax Acts by substituting references to the Industrial Assurance Order and the Administration of Estates Order for references to legislation superseded by them. This is its only purpose and it is therefore purely consequential. I beg to move.

Moved, that the draft order laid before the House on 23rd October, be approved.

On Question, Motion agreed to.
