My Lords, I beg leave to ask Her Majesty's Government a Question of which I have given Private Notice. The Question is as follows:

"To ask Her Majesty's Government what advice they have given to local education authorities so as to safeguard the position of children taking 'O' and 'A' levels and CSE examinations from the disruption of their education as a result of industrial action."
