My Lords, I beg leave on behalf of my noble friend Lady Elles to ask Her Majesty's Government a Question of which she has given Private Notice—namely:

"To ask Her Majesty's Government what representations they have made to the Government of Pakistan seeking clemency on behalf of former President Bhutto".
