§ Lord SANDYSMy Lords, in rising to speak on the Third Reading of this Bill I should like to express gratitude to the noble Lord, Lord Strabolgi, for his courtesy in investigating a problem which was raised at Committee stage, and coupled with my name I should like to add that of my noble friend Lord Dulverton, who is not able to be here this evening, to express thanks for his investigations and the advice given by Parliamentary Counsel on an Amendment which was subsequently withdrawn.
§ Lord STRABOLGIMy Lords, I am very grateful to the noble Lord, Lord Sandys, for what he has said. I am also most grateful to him, speaking on behalf of the Opposition, and to the noble Lord, Lord Dulverton, for their helpful and constructive attitude towards this small but important enabling Bill.
