Mr. Tom Litterick (Birmingham, Selly Oak)I beg leave, Mr. Speaker, to present a petition on behalf of the residents of the village of Bournbrook, in the district of Selly Oak, in the constituency of Birmingham, Selly Oak.
Beginning with the usual marks of respect for the House, the petition states that there is the strongest local objection to the exclusion of the village of Bourn-brook, in the district of Selly Oak in Birmingham, from the Birmingham inner city partnership area, even though less needy areas have been included in that area.
Wherefore your petitioners pray that the House will take steps to have the said village of Bournbrook, in the district of Selly Oak in Birmingham, included in the said area.And your petitioners, as in duty bound, will ever pray, etc.A petition substantially the same as this has been signed by residents of Selly Oak.
